Cinnamon Apple Festive Flapjack Horse Treats

Horse Festive flapjack


1/4 cup ground flax seed
3/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup date syrup
2 cups oat flour
2 cups oats
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup dried apple pieces
1 apple (sliced)



Preheat oven to 360°F/180°C
Soak ground flax seed in warm water for 10 minutes until it turns a gelatinous consistency.
In a mixing bowl, combine flax-and-water mixture with date syrup.
Stir in oat flour, oatmeal, salt, apple and cinnamon until well-combined.
Pour batter into greased baking tray.
Lay apple slices on top of mixture. (Remember to do it evenly so each flapjack square has a piece)
Bake 18-20 minutes.
Cut into squares
