Cartier International Polo Challenge at Desert Palm Dubai

Desert Palm won the 8th Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge against reigning champions Cartier.  The tournament held under the patronage of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, four pro-am polo teams competed in the 8th Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge held at Ali Albwardy’s Desert Palm Resort in Dubai.

The Desert Palm team lead by HH Sheikha Maitha Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, won by only a half goal with the final score being 6.5-6.  It was an exciting finish as Cartier fought back with a goal by Argentinian,Juan Jose Brane, towards the end of the final chukka.
