Dubai Showjumping Championship this weekend with 600 000AED up for grabs

600 000AED in prize money up for grabs

600 000AED in prize money is up for grabs at the Dubai Showjumping Championship to be held at Emirates Equestrian Centre from 31 January t0 2 February. The CSI3*-W competition is one of the highlights in the UAE’s equestrian calendar.

The Championship has attracted international showjumpers, like Olympic bronze medalist Cian O’Connor and bronze team medalist Abdullah Al Sharbatli as well as the UAE’s home grown talent Abdullah Al Marri!  World cup qualification points will also be up for grabs at the competition which many of the Arab League riders will be looking to accumulate to secure a position in the World Cup.

Entrance is free and family entertainment will be availalble including pony rides, bouncy castles, children’s play area, face painting and drill rides by Dubai Pony Club as well as displays and trick riding from Z7 Entertainment. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

Gates open at 11:30am on Thursday January 31. On Friday February 1 the gates open at 1pm and at 11am on Saturday February 3. The EEC is located next door to Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, behind the Dubai International Endurance City.
