Godolphin launch recruitment drive for 2018 Masar cohort

godolphin recruitment driveGodolphin, the global thoroughbred breeding and horseracing stable founded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, today launched a campaign to find eight outstanding and ambitious Emirati men and women to become part of the 2018 Masar cohort.

Masar Godolphin is an academic and experiential scholarship operating under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which will provide UAE nationals with a unique and unrivalled opportunity to embrace their equestrian heritage with the aim of becoming the business leaders of the future.

In tandem with the development of their equine knowledge and skills, trainees will be given the opportunity to visit some of the UK’s leading sporting and professional organisations in the pursuit of developing their leadership, management and teamwork skills.

Places on this prestigious programme will be offered to eight Emirati’s aged between 20 and 30, who demonstrate a genuine passion for equestrianism, and who have the ambition and commitment to develop both personally and professionally.

Hugh Anderson, Managing Director for Godolphin in the UK and Dubai, said: “The course will run over 10 months, in Dubai, the United Kingdom and Ireland, and include a mix of both academic and practical modules, plus placements with some of the world’s most prestigious equestrian organisations. Masar Godolphin is a very special programme which represents yet another demonstration of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed’s enduring passion for horse breeding and racing, and his continued commitment to the creation of a sustainable future for both the industry and the individuals involved in it”.
